First Nations Trauma

Therapy more than assessment

At Tribal Psychology, I offer a unique perspective on mental health and well-being. With over 20 years of experience working in a variety of challenging roles, such as maximum-security prisons and detention centres, I have firsthand knowledge of how trauma can affect an individual. Let me help guide you to a happier and healthier life.

As a licensed psychologist, I take pride in helping those who serve and protect our communities. I have a special place in my heart for first responders, including prison and police officers, who put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe.

My passion extends beyond this, and I'm dedicated to helping those affected by First Nations trauma.  have the privilege of working with wonderful First Nations clients and providing them with the support they need to heal.

I'm now extending my professional skills to those in the community who need a psychologist who understands trauma on different levels, either first responders or First Nations; thus, Tribal Psychology is born.

A glimpse of my work experience below:

2022 - Current

 2012 - 2023

 1990's- 2000's

From 2022 until January 2024, I was a provisional psychologist and from 26th January 2024 became a qualified psychologist. I worked at a First Nations Health Organisation until May 2024, when I opened another business of my own.  This way more people can access my services.

I ran my own Holistic Health business offering counselling, clinical hypnotherapy and EMDR and a number of other modalities.

I worked as an officer and Intelligence investigator in one of Australia's maximum security male prisons and a number of immigration centres, and have experienced and seen post traumatic stress disorder, first hand.
